Peacelily in a nutshell...
- Joann Castrillo
- I am creative geek with a life: I am an artist, collaborator, a PTA & soccer mom, a queen bee & a domestic goddess blissfully married to my best friend & blessed with two magnificent girls who are a lot of fun & a load of hard work. Not a day goes by when I don't rejoice having my children & meeting my husband ~ my husband & my children define me, but my art is an extension of myself. I did not receive any formal training in painting & drawing. I am self taught & self representing. My creative soul is always on a perpetual journey & I am still learning with each piece that I create ~ often stretching myself just a little bit more past my comfort zone, hoping to bring new confidences that I didn't know existed. My approach is to bring something whimsical & ethereal into the mundane, creating characters that exist within their own realms. I love that I am able to help support my family by doing something that I am thrilled to do & I share this with you with the hope that you will find your niche & voice & to empower you to discover the unique gifts within yourself.....From a woman's soul♥ Joann

Hi Joann. I just found your blog through Joji's blog. I love your paintings and I really think I am going to love your blog so I decided to follow you. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving too and Happy Holidays. I will be back to read some of your posts, I already see some that interest me. Right now though I am going into the kitchen to make some Habanero Honey. Take care.
Hi Gloria! I am a big fan of Joji's work, too!!! Very, very happy to hear that you are lovin' the blog and I thank you for giving my paintings the thumbs up!!! We had a lovely thanksgiving and I am looking forward to having my family over for our annual christmas gathering and skiing. It's been our tradition since we live in snow country to go skiing on christmas day...it's also an excuse to take a break from stuffing ourselves and avoiding food coma :-) This is most definitely my favorite time of the year and my home is all decked out and festive. I will be visiting your blog as well. Thanks for stopping by and I am so happy you like what you see here. Now you got me jonesing for some Habanero Honey! Peace and blessings to you!
