As some of you may know, I am a big "technophobe" who is still learning and getting acquainted with world of blogging, twitting and the whole social networking deal. On one hand, I feel so blessed to have met some really great folks in the art community as well as awesome folks who dig and collect art, but I have yet to get all these technical stuff down to a science...kindly bear with me.
In following the trend, I have begun putting together a Peacelily Art Studio Facebook page ~ woo hoo!! It is still in the process of being tweaked, but it will be up and running in full force very soon. My exciting news will follow shortly. HANG IN THERE!

- I am creative geek with a life: I am an artist, collaborator, a PTA & soccer mom, a queen bee & a domestic goddess blissfully married to my best friend & blessed with two magnificent girls who are a lot of fun & a load of hard work. Not a day goes by when I don't rejoice having my children & meeting my husband ~ my husband & my children define me, but my art is an extension of myself. I did not receive any formal training in painting & drawing. I am self taught & self representing. My creative soul is always on a perpetual journey & I am still learning with each piece that I create ~ often stretching myself just a little bit more past my comfort zone, hoping to bring new confidences that I didn't know existed. My approach is to bring something whimsical & ethereal into the mundane, creating characters that exist within their own realms.
